About Me

My Dreams and Aspirations

Corrective Touch uses massage therapy techniques to focus on injury recovery and prevention and overall wellness. Corrective Touch was established in 2018 by Hallie Crawford. As a Marine Corps veteran, she gave up her active duty military life and moved to Aubrey, TX in 2013. She had a dream to own her own business to help others recover from physical traumas in their life.

Hallie began her journey at Texas Woman’s University in the fall of 2013 and graduated with a BS in Kinesiology in 2017.  In the fall of 2017 that she realized her dream to help people would lead her to massage therapy. Her hopes were to learn how to use massage to manipulate the musculoskeletal system to promote healing and recovery. Since graduating from Ke Kino Massage Academy and Institute of Healing, she began her own business in Aubrey, TX, working on all body types of all ages. Her focus is to use therapeutic massage to help individuals heal from injuries; recover quicker from strenuous activity and to promote overall wellness.

“So many people believe that they have to live with aches or they’ve been told there is nothing more they can do except ‘live with the pain’. I don’t believe that. I believe that there is healing in the human touch and anyone can experience that healing. There is always a hope to live a better quality of life. That ‘better quality of life’ can mean an athlete gets back on the field sooner, that mom or dad can get back into the gym or someone can simply get up out of there recliner and walk around their house a little easier. A better quality of life will be different for everyone, so my approach to each individual’s recovery journey will be too.”
